Lecheng Megalodon

Hindi ako maka-move on.

Wala kaming sembreak. Well, technically, meron. Wala kaming pasok ng October 30 at 31 (Thursday at Friday). Tapos balik-eskwela ulit kami this November 3.

November 1, Saturday, I wrote my first 1,667 words for my YA novel, plus continued to work on the grades of my 40 students for the 6 different subjects that I handle.

A scientist theorized about this huge shark that locals call as 'submarine'. It got my attention ng banggitin nila yung tungkol sa theory nila that it was a megalodon who attacked the fishing boat. A sea creature that is so huge, it could cut whales into half in one bite.

Then, nagpakita pa ng pictures ng whale bitten into half somewhere in Mexico, a picture during the World War II of a huge fin seen beside a warship, a picture of a huge fin near the shore somewhere in Africa, etcetera, etcetera, pointing to the possible existence of this dinosaur-ic shark. At dahil less than 5% pa lang talaga ng oceans ng earth ang nae-explore ng tao, plus the global warming phenomenon, the idea of a megalodon surviving extinction and now hunting near humans seemed quite plausible.

Nakaka-excite talaga as the biologist and his group tried to hunt and trap the megalodon using a crazy weight of shark bait (composed of mean looking fish meat and oils and blood), and a whale decoy that is in the same scale as that of a real one, and they even blasted the sound of a distressed whale. Sa sobrang engrossed ko sa palabas, gumagawa ako ng grades tuwing commercial, tapos balik ako sa panonood with the documentary kapag narinig ko na nag-start na ulit yung palabas.

After all the hulabaloo, and ending, the team had a really, really close encounter with the megalodon.

Gusto ko kasing i-discuss sa Science class ko, kaya nag-Google ako for an update about Megalodon.

Lecheng Discovery.
